- "A group from my community will continue to fight for the truth, prevailing over those who oppose them until the last of them fights the false messiah." It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (1/388-389), al-Ḥākim (4/450), and Aḥmad (4/429 and 437) through the route of Ḥammād ibn Salamah from Qatādah from Muṭarrif ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Shakhkhīr from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Al-Ḥākim said: "Authentic according to the criteria of Muslim." Al-Dhahabī agreed, and it is as they said. Abū al-ʿAlāʾ ibn al-Shakhkhīr, whose name is Yazīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Shakhkhīr, followed him from his brother Muṭarrif, who said: ʿImrān said to me: "I am narrating to you a ḥadīth today that Allāh will benefit you with after today. Know that the best of Allāh's servants are those who praise Him, and know that a group from the people of Islam will continue to fight for the truth, prevailing over those who oppose them, until they fight the false messiah. And know that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) allowed some of his family to perform ʿUmrah during the ten days, and no verse was revealed to abrogate that, nor did the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) prohibit it until he departed, and every person considered after what Allāh willed." It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/434): Ismāʿīl narrated to us, al-Jurayrī informed us from Abū al-ʿAlāʾ ibn al-Shakhkhīr with it. And this chain is authentic according to the criteria of the six. And with this chain, it was recorded by Muslim (4/47) without the first two teachings, and likewise, it was narrated by Ibn Mājah (2/229) from Abū Usāmah from al-Jurayrī. I had mentioned the ḥadīth from the first route briefly under number (270) from a precious source, and this completes what is there.
- " لا تزال طائفة من أمتي يقاتلون على الحق، ظاهرين على من ناوأهم حتى يقاتل آخرهم المسيح الدجال ". أخرجه أبو داود (١ / ٣٨٨ - ٣٨٩) والحاكم (٤ / ٤٥٠) وأحمد (٤ / ٤٢٩ و ٤٣٧) من طريق حماد بن سلمة عن قتادة عن مطرف بن عبد الله الشخير عن عمران بن حصين مرفوعا. وقال الحاكم: " صحيح على شرط مسلم ". ووافقه الذهبي، وهو كما قالا. وقد تابعه أبو العلاء بن الشخير واسمه يزيد بن عبد الله بن الشخير عن أخيه مطرف قال: قال لي عمران: إني لأحدثك بالحديث اليوم ينفعك الله ﷿ به بعد اليوم، اعلم أن خير عباد الله ﵎ الحمادون، واعلم أنه لن تزال طائفة من أهل الإسلام يقاتلون عن الحق ظاهرين على من ناوأهم، حتى يقاتلوا المسيح الدجال، واعلم أن رسول الله ﷺ قد أعمر من أهله في العشر، فلم تنزل آية تنسخ ذلك، ولم ينه عنه رسول الله ﷺ حتى مضى لوجهه، ارتأى كل امرئ بعد ما شاء الله أن يرتئي ". أخرجه أحمد (٤ / ٤٣٤) : حدثنا إسماعيل أنبأنا الجريري عن أبي العلاء بن الشخير به. وهذا سند صحيح على شرط الستة. وبهذا الإسناد أخرجه مسلم (٤ / ٤٧) دون التعليمين الأولين، وكذلك رواه ابن ماجة (٢ / ٢٢٩) عن أبي أسامة عن الجريري. وقد كنت ذكرت الحديث من الطريق الأول مختصرا برقم (٢٧٠) من مصدر عزيز، وهذا متمم لما هناك.
- "A group from my community will continue to fight for the truth, prevailing until the Day of Resurrection. He said: Then ʿĪsá ibn Maryam (ʿalayhi as-salām) will descend, and their leader will say: Come and lead us in prayer. He will say: No, some of you are leaders over others, as an honor from Allāh to this community." It was recorded by Muslim (1/95 and 6/53) and Aḥmad (3/384) through the route of Ibn Jurayj
- " لا تزال طائفة من أمتي يقاتلون على الحق ظاهرين إلى يوم القيامة، قال: فينزل عيسى بن مريم ﷺ فيقول أميرهم: تعال صل لنا، فيقول: لا، إن بعضكم على بعض أمراء، تكرمة الله على هذه الأمة ". أخرجه مسلم (١ / ٩٥ و ٦ / ٥٣) وأحمد (٣ / ٣٨٤) من طريق ابن جريج
