in "al-Thiqāt" (1/8), he was given the kunyah Abū Baḥr, the client of Anas ibn Mālik. Ibn Abī Ḥātim said (1/1/464) from his father, "He is reliable in ḥadīth." There is another chain for him with Abū Yaʿlá (205/2) and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (1/518).

- "A believer is not one who eats his fill while his neighbor is hungry beside him." It was narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (112), al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (3/175/1), al-Ḥākim (4/167), as well as Ibn Abī Shaybah in "Kitāb al-Īmān" (189/2), al-Khaṭīb in "Tārīkh Baghdād" (10/392), Ibn ʿAsākir (9/136/2), and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (62/292/1) from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Abī Bashīr from ʿAbdullāh ibn Masāwir who said: I heard Ibn ʿAbbās mention Ibn al-Zubayr and criticize his miserliness, then he said, I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and he mentioned it
