and in a narration by Aḥmad through the route of Ibn Lahīʿah, also from Yazīd ibn ʿAmr, from Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥubulī, from Abū Fāṭimah al-Azdī or al-Asadī, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to me: "O Abū Fāṭimah, if you wish to meet me, then increase in prostration." Its narrators are trustworthy except for Ibn Lahīʿah, who has poor memory. The first isnād is more authentic because it is narrated by ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yazīd al-Muqriʾ from him according to al-Dūlābī, and his ḥadīth is authentic from him. And Allāh knows best. In summary, the ḥadīth is authentic except for the section on jihād, due to my ignorance of its isnād status according to al-Ṭabarānī, and the lack of finding a corroborating witness for it. And Allāh, the Exalted, knows best. Then I came across the ḥadīth in the twenty-second volume of "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" by al-Ṭabarānī, which was recently published with verification by our esteemed brother Ḥamdī ʿAbd al-Majīd al-Salafī, who gifted it to me along with the preceding volumes. May Allāh reward him well. I found the ḥadīth in it, number (810), through the route of Zayd ibn Wāqid, from Sulaymān ibn Mūsá, from Kathīr ibn Murrah, that Abū Fāṭimah narrated to him, saying: I said: O Messenger of Allāh! Inform me of a deed... the ḥadīth is similar to the first narration of al-Nasāʾī, but with all four sections. Its narrators are trustworthy except for Bakr ibn Sahl, the teacher of al-Ṭabarānī. Al-Dhahabī said: "People narrated from him, and his condition is moderate. Al-Nasāʾī said: weak." I said: And our brother Ḥamdī criticized it by saying: "Sulaymān ibn Mūsá did not meet Kathīr ibn Murrah." I said: This is the statement of Abū Mushir, and I have reservations about it because both are Syrian followers, even though Kathīr is earlier. Al-Bukhārī mentioned him in "al-Tārīkh al-Ṣaghīr" (p. 95) in the section of those who died "between eighty and ninety," and he mentioned (p. 137) that Sulaymān ibn Mūsá lived until the year..
