It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Ṣaghīr" (no. 1156 - al-Rawḍ) and "al-Awsaṭ" (no. 363) and by al-Khaṭīb in "al-Mūḍiḥ" (2/28). Al-Ṭabarānī said: "This al-Ghāḍarī is Ḥafṣ ibn Sulaymān Abū ʿUmar the reciter." I say: He is abandoned, so reliance is on what precedes.

"The days were presented to me, and Friday was shown to me among them, and it was like a white mirror, and in its center was a black dot. I asked: What is this? It was said: The Hour." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (1/48/2) from Abū Sufyān al-Ḥimyarī: Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Ḥamrah narrated to us from Yazīd ibn Ḥumayd from Anas ibn Mālik as marfūʿ, and he said: "No one narrated it from Yazīd except Ḍaḥḥāk, and Abū Sufyān was unique in narrating it." I say: He is truthful and moderate as in "al-Taqrīb," and his name is Saʿīd ibn Yaḥyá al-Ḥimyarī. Similarly, Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Ḥamrah, as there is disagreement about him between those who authenticate and those who weaken, and al-Tirmidhī deemed his ḥadīth good, so the isnād is good, if Allāh wills. Al-Haythamī said in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (2/164): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ,' and its men are the men of the ṣaḥīḥ except for al-Ṭabarānī's shaykh, who is trustworthy." Thus he said, and Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Ḥamrah was not included by the two shaykhs in anything. He and al-Mundhirī (1/248) narrated it from Anas with a similar but more complete version, and al-Haythamī said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ,' and its men are trustworthy." Al-Mundhirī said: "... with a good isnād."
