and the mention of the groin is found in the ḥadīth of Muʿādh as reported by Aḥmad (5/241). Perhaps due to these paths, al-Mundhirī considered the isnād of this ḥadīth to be ḥasan in "al-Targhīb" (4/204), followed by al-Haythamī (2/315), and al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Ḥajar indicated its strengthening in "Badhl al-Maʿūn" (69/1-2). And Allāh knows best. (al-murāq): refers to the lower part of the abdomen and the areas beneath it where the skin is thin.

- "The visitor of the sick is in the garden of Paradise, and when he sits with him, mercy envelops him." It was recorded by al-Bazzār in "his Musnad" (no. 774) from Ṣāliḥ ibn Mūsá from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Rufayʿ from Abū Salamah ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from his father as marfūʿ. I say: This isnād is very weak, Ṣāliḥ ibn Mūsá, who is al-Taymī al-Kūfī, was described by al-Ḥāfiẓ in "al-Taqrīb" as "abandoned." However, it has a supporting narration from the ḥadīth of Jābir as marfūʿ with the wording: "Whoever visits a sick person continues to wade in mercy until he returns, and when he sits, he immerses in it." It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (711), al-Ḥākim (1/350), and Aḥmad (3/304) through the route of Hishām who reported from ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Jaʿfar from ʿUmar ibn al-Ḥakam ibn Thawbān from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh as marfūʿ. Al-Ḥākim said: "Ṣaḥīḥ according to the conditions of Muslim." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said, except that Hishām was contradicted in its isnād, as it was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (522) from Khālid ibn al-Ḥārith who said: ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Jaʿfar reported to us saying: My father informed me that Abū Bakr ibn Ḥazm and Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir
