"this isnād is good, Yaʿqūb is disputed, and the rest are trustworthy." Thus he said, and what is in it is not hidden, but the ḥadīth is authentic, for it is supported by the ḥadīth of Buraydah, elevated: "Adopt a moderate approach in your devotion, for whoever overburdens himself in this religion will be overwhelmed by it." It was recorded by Aḥmad and others, and I have documented it in "Ẓilāl al-Jannah fī Takhrej al-Sunnah" by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim (95-97). And the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah, elevated: "Adopt from deeds what you can bear, for Allāh does not tire until you tire." It was narrated by the two Shaykhs and others, and it is documented in "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (1238) and has a corroborating witness (1709).

- "O people! I have left among you that which if you hold onto, you will never go astray: the Book of Allāh and my family, the members of my household."
