I said: This isnād is weak, but it has supporting evidence indicating that it has an origin in the ḥadīth of ʿAbdullāh ibn Masʿūd and al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib. As for the ḥadīth of Ibn Masʿūd, it was recorded by al-Ṭayālisī (378), al-Ṭabarānī, and others, and authenticated by al-Ḥākim, but al-Dhahabī rejected it as I explained in "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" (651), yet it has another route that strengthens it, which I detailed there. As for the ḥadīth of al-Barāʾ, it was recorded by Aḥmad (4/286) and Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Īmān" number (110 - my verification) and Ibn Naṣr in "Kitāb al-Ṣalāh" (folio 91/1) from the narration of Layth ibn Abī Sulaym, who is weak.
