"Indeed, Allāh has servants who recognize people through intuition." It was narrated by Abū al-Shaykh in "ʿAwālihi" (2/32/1), al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (3086), al-Quḍāʿī (84/2), and al-Wāḥidī in "al-Tafsīr" from Abū Bishr al-Muzalliq, from Thābit al-Bunānī, from Anas ibn Mālik, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I said: This isnād is good; its narrators are trustworthy except for Abū Bishr, whose name is Bakr ibn al-Ḥakam al-Tamīmī. He was deemed trustworthy by Abū ʿUbaydah al-Ḥaddād, Abū Salamah al-Tabūdhakī, Saʿīd ibn Muḥammad al-Ḥarbī, and Ibn Ḥibbān, and no one weakened him except that Abū Zurʿah said: "A shaykh, not strong." I said: Although this is not a strong criticism, it is not explained, so it does not take precedence over the authentication of those we mentioned. It is as if for this reason, al-Dhahabī said in "al-Mīzān": "Truthful." Al-Ḥāfiẓ said: "Truthful, with some leniency." Al-Haythamī said: "Its isnād is good." Al-Sakhāwī followed him in "al-Maqāṣid al-Ḥasanah" (p. 20). Al-Dhahabī's statement in the biography of Abū al-Muzalliq: "He narrated a rejected report..." then mentioned it, is not acceptable from him unless he means that he was unique in narrating it, which does not harm its authenticity, according to Imām al-Shāfiʿī, may Allāh have mercy on him, who said: "A rare ḥadīth is not when a trustworthy person narrates what others have not narrated, but rather when he narrates what contradicts others."
