al-Mundhirī said in "al-Targhīb" (1/45): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and its isnād is good." I said: Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Qushayrī followed him up from Ḥumayd with it. It was recorded by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (no. 37 in my verification), Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (p. 311/1), and Ibn ʿAbd al-Hādī (10/2) through the route of Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd who said: Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to me with it. But this al-Qushayrī is weak, so the reliance is on what precedes it.

"No one ever pronounced the talbiyah except that he was given glad tidings, and no one ever proclaimed the takbīr except that he was given glad tidings." It was said: "With Paradise?" He said: "Yes." Narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (no. 7943 in my copy) and Abū al-Ḥasan al-Ḥarbī in "al-Amālī" (245/2) from ʿAbd al-Aʿlá ibn Ḥammād al-Narsī who said: Muʿtamir ibn Sulaymān narrated to us, who said: Zayd ibn ʿUmar ibn ʿĀṣim narrated to us from Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ from his father from Abū Hurayrah as marfūʿ, and al-Ṭabarānī said: "No one narrated it from Zayd except Muʿtamir." I said: It was stated in "al-Mīzān": "He narrated from Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ with a rejected report." I said: Perhaps he means this, but its coming through another route removes its rejection, which is what al-Ṭabarānī also recorded.
