O Allāh, Lord of Jibrīl, Isrāfīl, Mīkāʾīl, and Muḥammad the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), I seek refuge in You from the Fire, three times." It was recorded by Ibn al-Sunnī in "ʿAmal al-Yawm wa-al-Laylah" (101) and al-Ḥākim (3/622), and both he and al-Dhahabī remained silent about it. I say: It is weak: Mubashshir ibn Abī al-Milīḥ, Ibn Abī Ḥātim said (4/1/342): "He narrated from his father, and from him Shuʿbah [narrated]." He did not mention any criticism or endorsement about him. ʿAbbād ibn Saʿīd al-Baṣrī was mentioned by Ibn Abī Ḥātim (3/1/80) through the narration of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad, the nephew of Jawrayyah ibn Asmāʾ al-Ḍubʿī and this al-Ghassānī, and he did not mention any criticism or endorsement about him. al-Ghassānī is weak. al-Wāsiṭī is Abū al-Ḥasan al-Tammār, Ibn Abī Ḥātim said (3/1/73) from his father: "There is no harm in him."

"I am the supplication of my father Ibrāhīm, and the glad tidings of ʿĪsá (ʿalayhi al-salām), and my mother saw when she carried me that a light emerged from her that illuminated the palaces of Shām. I was nursed among Banū Saʿd ibn Bakr, and while I was among our sheep, two men came to me wearing white garments, with them a golden basin filled with snow. They laid me down, split open my chest, then extracted my heart and split it, removing from it a black clot which they discarded. Then they washed my heart and chest with that snow until they purified it, then returned it as it was. Then one of them said to his companion: Weigh him against ten of his nation. So he weighed me against ten, and I outweighed them. Then he said: Weigh him against a hundred of his nation. So he weighed me against a hundred, and I outweighed them. Then he said: Weigh him against a thousand of his nation, so he weighed me against a thousand, and I outweighed them. He said: Leave him, for if you weighed him against his entire nation, he would outweigh them." It was recorded by al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Kathīr in "al-Bidāyah" (2/275), and he said: Ibn Isḥāq narrated to us
