I said: Its isnād is authentic, and al-Ṭayālisī (2256) has the last part of it with the wording: "that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) commanded him to recite the Qurʾān in five." Al-Suyūṭī attributed it in "al-Jāmiʿ" to al-Ṭabarānī alone, which was an oversight, and he further erred by indicating its weakness, as al-Munāwī said! Then he confirmed it!

"Recite the Muʿawwidhāt after every prayer." It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (1523), Ibn Ḥibbān (2347), and Aḥmad (4/159), through the route of Ḥunayn ibn Abī Ḥakīm from ʿAlī ibn Rabāḥ from ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is good; its men are trustworthy except for Ḥunayn, who was mentioned by Ibn Ḥibbān in "al-Thiqāt" and was narrated from by a group, and al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "truthful." He was followed by Yazīd ibn Muḥammad al-Qurashī from ʿAlī ibn Rabāḥ with it. It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/155) through the route of Yazīd ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Ruʿaynī and Abū Marḥūm from him. I said: This isnād is authentic through both routes, from Yazīd who is trustworthy from the men of al-Bukhārī.

- "The affairs of this ummah will continue to be favorable or close to it as long as they do not speak about children and destiny." It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (1824) and al-Ḥākim (1/33) through routes from Jarīr ibn Ḥāzim who said: I heard Abū Rajāʾ al-ʿAṭṭāridī say: I heard Ibn ʿAbbās while he was on the pulpit say: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it.
