- "The best women of the people of Paradise are Khadījah bint Khuwaylid, Fāṭimah bint Muḥammad, Maryam bint ʿImrān, and Āsiyah bint Muzāḥim, the wife of Pharaoh." Narrated by Aḥmad (1/293), al-Ṭaḥāwī in "al-Mushkil" (1/50), al-Ḥākim (2/594 and 3/160 and 185), al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (65/67/1), and al-Ṭabarānī (no. 11928) from Dāwūd ibn al-Furāt al-Kindī from ʿAlbaʾ ibn Aḥmad al-Yashkurī from ʿIkrimah from Ibn ʿAbbās who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) drew four lines on the ground, then said: "Do you know what this is?" They said: Allāh and His Messenger know best. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. Al-Ḥākim said: "The isnād is authentic," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. I say: Its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of al-Bukhārī except for ʿAlbaʾ ibn Aḥmad, who is among the narrators of Muslim. It has a supporting narration from Anas in a marfūʿ form with the wording: "Sufficient for you among the women of the worlds..." and he mentioned them. Narrated by Aḥmad (3/135) and authenticated by Ibn Ḥibbān (2223). Then I found another route for the ḥadīth with al-Ṭabarānī (12179) with his isnād from Kurayb from Ibn ʿAbbās in a marfūʿ form with the wording: "The leading women of the people of Paradise after Maryam bint ʿImrān are Fāṭimah, Khadījah, and Āsiyah, the wife of Pharaoh."
