and I say: this individual was not included by Muslim in his collection, but he is trustworthy, so the ḥadīth is authentic only, and it has supporting evidence which you can find at the beginning of "Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr." and al-Munāwī left the ḥadīth blank!

"The best ḥajj is the one with loud recitation of talbiyah and the shedding of blood [sacrifice]." It was narrated by Abū Bakr ibn Saʿīd al-Qāḍī in "Sanad Abī Bakr al-Ṣiddīq" (74/1) who said: Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq al-Balkhī narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abī Fudayk narrated to us, he said: al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn ʿUthmān al-Ḥizāmī narrated to us from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from Ibn ʿUmar from Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was asked: What is the best ḥajj? He said: loud recitation of talbiyah and the shedding of blood. Then it was narrated (101/1) by him and al-Dārimī (2/31) and al-Tirmidhī (2/84 - Tuhfah) and Ibn Mājah (2/217) through different chains from Ibn Abī Fudayk with it, except that he made ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yarbūʿ instead of "Ibn ʿUmar." Then it was narrated from the path of Saʿīd ibn ʿUthmān and al-Ḍaḥḥāk together from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yarbūʿ from Abū Bakr, and al-Tirmidhī said: "This ḥadīth is strange, we do not know it except from the narration of Ibn Abī Fudayk from al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn ʿUthmān, and Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir did not hear from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yarbūʿ, and Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir narrated from Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yarbūʿ from his father other than this ḥadīth, and Abū Nuʿaym al-Ṭaḥḥān narrated this ḥadīth from Ḍirār ibn Ṣurd from Ibn Abī Fudayk from al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn ʿUthmān from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yarbūʿ from his father from Abū Bakr from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and Ḍirār made a mistake in it. Abū ʿĪsá said: I heard Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥasan say: Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal said: Whoever says in this ḥadīth from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from Ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yarbūʿ from his father has made a mistake. He said: and I heard Muḥammad say: I mentioned to him the ḥadīth of Ḍirār ibn Ṣurd from Abū Fudayk, and he said: it is a mistake, so I said: others have also narrated it from Ibn Abī Fudayk similar to his narration, and he said: it is nothing, they only narrated it from Ibn Abī Fudayk and did not mention Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān in it, and I saw him weaken Ḍirār ibn Ṣurd."
