"not all water produces offspring, and when Allāh intends to create something, nothing can prevent it." It was also narrated by al-Ṭayālisī (2193) through the route of ʿUmārah al-ʿAbdī from Abū Saʿīd with similar wording: "If Allāh decrees something to happen, it will happen even if one practices withdrawal." Abū Saʿīd said: "I practiced withdrawal with a slave woman of mine, and she gave birth to the most beloved person to me: this boy." However, this ʿUmārah, who is Ibn Juwain Abū Hārūn, is considered unreliable.

- "Proclaim the marriage, proclaim the marriage, this is marriage not fornication." It was narrated by Ibn Mandah in "al-Maʿrifah" (2/218/2) with a sound chain from Yūnus ibn Bukayr: Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd Allāh informed us from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī ʿAbd Allāh ibn Hubār ibn al-Aswad from his father from his grandfather that he married off his daughter, and they had drums and cymbals. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) came out and heard the sound. He asked: "What is this?" It was said: "Hubār married off his daughter." The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) then mentioned it. He said: I asked: "What are the drums?" He said: "The large drum and the cymbals." Then he narrated it through the route of Abū Maʿshar from Yaḥyá ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Hubār from his father from his grandfather in a shortened form. It does not mention the drums and cymbals. I said: This is a weak and unknown chain; ʿAbd Allāh ibn Hubār and his son Yaḥyá have no known biography. Abū Maʿshar, whose name is Najīḥ, is weak. Al-Ṭabarānī also narrated it through his route in the biography of "Hubār" from "al-Iṣābah." In the first route, Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd Allāh, who is al-ʿArzamī, is considered unreliable, and al-Ṭabarānī narrated it through his route as well as in "al-Majmaʿ" (4/290), and ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī ʿAbd Allāh ibn Hubār also has no known biography, and it was extracted by al-Ḥasan ibn Sufyān in "his Musnad" as in "al-Iṣābah." He said following this and the previous:
