and the ḥadīth has a supporting narration from the ḥadīth of Ghālib al-Qaṭṭān from a man from his father from his grandfather, attributed [to the Prophet]. It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (2/23) and its isnād is unknown as you see, and the ḥāfiẓ remained silent about it in "al-Fatḥ" (13/144), perhaps due to its supporting narrations, including the ḥadīth of Anas mentioned before. Among them is what was mentioned by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAmr ibn Jablah—one of the weak narrators—from ʿUbayd ibn Ziyād al-Shanī from al-Jallās ibn Ziyād al-Shanī from Jaʿbūnah ibn Ziyād al-Shanī that he heard the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: he mentioned it. It was narrated by Ibn Mandah in this suspended form as in "al-Iṣābah" by the ḥāfiẓ who said: "The rest of its narrators are unknown." I say: Thus, the ḥadīth, with all these chains, is ḥasan, if Allāh wills.

"The most intense in love for me from my ummah will be a people who will come after me; one of them would wish to give his family and wealth to have seen me." It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/156 and 170) from the route of Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd from Dhakwān Abū Ṣāliḥ from a man from Banī Asad that Abū Dharr informed him, saying: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād has all trustworthy narrators except for the Asadī man, as he was not named. Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ contradicted him, saying: from his father from Abū Hurayrah, attributed [to the Prophet] with the wording: "Among the most intense in love for me from my ummah will be people who will come after me; one of them would wish to see me with his family and wealth." It was recorded by Muslim (8/145). It was also narrated from the ḥadīth of Anas, attributed [to the Prophet]. It was recorded by Abū al-Shaykh in "Ṭabaqāt al-Aṣbahāniyyīn" (p. 50) from Ibrāhīm ibn Hudbah from him. And this Ibrāhīm is abandoned, so the reliance is on the previous one.
