Then I found the ḥadīth in "al-Tafsīr" from "Mustadrak al-Ḥākim" (2/443) authenticated as al-Munāwī mentioned, narrated through the route of ʿImrān ibn Zāʾidah. And I found a strong supporting narration for the ḥadīth from Maʿqil ibn Yasār (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Your Lord says: O son of Adam, devote yourself to My worship, I will fill your heart with richness and fill your hands with provision. O son of Adam! Do not distance yourself from Me, lest I fill your heart with poverty and fill your hands with occupation." It was narrated by al-Ḥākim (4/326) through the route of Salām ibn Abī Muṭīʿ who narrated to us from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah from him. And he said: "The isnād is authentic." And al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. And Salām al-Ṭawīl followed him from Zayd from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah with it.
