therefore, every one of our Muslim brothers afflicted by any of this should hasten and repent to the Lord of the worlds, and there is no way to do so except through beneficial knowledge derived from the Book and the sunnah. This knowledge is spread throughout the books of our scholars, may Allāh have mercy on them, especially Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah, his student Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, and those who followed their path. They should not be deterred by some who whisper to them that these acts of shirk are actually acts of nearness and intercession, for their case is like those whom the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) informed us about, who make some prohibitions permissible by saying, "They give them names other than their own." (See the previously mentioned ḥadīth numbers 90 and 415). This is advice I direct to those of our misguided Muslim brothers who care about their Hereafter, before the day comes when the word of the Lord of the worlds is fulfilled concerning some of His distant servants: * "And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed" * (Sūrah al-Furqān, verse 23).
فعلى كل من كان مبتلى بشيء من ذلك من إخواننا المسلمين أن يبادروا فيتوبوا إلى رب العالمين ولا سبيل إلى ذلك إلا بالعلم النافع المستقى من الكتاب والسنة. وهو مبثوث في كتب علمائنا رحمهم الله تعالى، وبخاصة منهم شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية وتلميذه ابن قيم الجوزية ومن نحا نحوهم وسار سبيلهم. ولا يصدنهم عن ذلك بعض من يوحي إليهم من الموسوسين بأن هذه الشركيات إنما هي قربات وتوسلات، فإن شأنهم في ذلك شأن من أخبر عنهم النبي ﷺ ممن يستحلون بعض المحرمات بقوله " يسمونها بغير اسمها ". (انظر الحديث المتقدم ٩٠ و ٤١٥). هذه نصيحة أوجهها إلى من يهمه أمر آخرته من إخواننا المسلمين المضللين، قبل أن يأتي يوم يحق فيه قول رب العالمين في بعض عباده الأبعدين: * (وقدمنا إلى ما عملوا من عمل فجعلناه هباء منثورا) *.
- "Glorify Allāh one hundred times, for it is equivalent to freeing one hundred slaves from the descendants of Ismāʿīl. Praise Allāh one hundred times, for it is equivalent to one hundred saddled and bridled horses that you send forth in the path of Allāh. Magnify Allāh one hundred times, for it is equivalent to one hundred adorned and accepted camels. And say 'Lā ilāha illā Allāh' one hundred times"—Ibn Khalaf said: I think he said—"it fills what is between the heaven and the earth, and no one's deeds will be raised that day except if they come with what you have brought." It was recorded by Aḥmad (6/344) and al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab al-Īmān" (1/379-380) through the route of Saʿīd ibn Sulaymān, who said: Mūsá ibn Khalaf narrated to us, saying: ʿĀṣim ibn Bahdalah narrated from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Umm Hānī bint Abī Ṭālib, who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) passed by me, so I said: O Messenger of Allāh! I have become old and weak—or as she said—so command me with an action I can do while sitting. He then mentioned it."
- " سبحي الله مائة تسبيحة، فإنها تعدل لك مائة رقبة تعتقينها من ولد إسماعيل واحمدي الله مائة تحميدة تعدل لك مائة فرس مسرجة ملجمة تحملين عليها في سبيل الله وكبري الله مائة تكبيرة، فإنها تعدل لك مائة بدنة مقلدة متقبلة وهللي الله مائة تهليلة - قال ابن خلف: أحسبه قال - تملأ ما بين السماء والأرض ولا يرفع يومئذ لأحد عمل إلا أن يأتي بمثل ما أتيت به ". أخرجه أحمد (٦ / ٣٤٤) والبيهقي في " شعب الإيمان " (١ / ٣٧٩ - ٣٨٠) من طريق سعيد بن سليمان قال: حدثنا موسى بن خلف قال: حدثنا عاصم ابن بهدلة عن أبي صالح عن أم هاني بنت أبي طالب قال: قالت: " مر بي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقلت: يا رسول الله! إن قد كبرت وضعفت - أو كما قالت - فمرني بعمل أعمله وأنا جالسة. قال: فذكره.
