I said: This isnād is weak; its narrators are trustworthy except for al-Mufaḍḍal, who is Ibn Abī Umayyah Abū Mālik al-Baṣrī, the brother of Mubārak, and he is weak. However, it has a corroborating report from the ḥadīth of Abū al-Aḥwaṣ from his father, marfūʿ, similar to it. It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (1434 and 1435) and others. It also has another corroborating report from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, recorded by Abū al-Shaykh in "al-Ṭabaqāt."
قلت: وهذا إسناد ضعيف، رجاله ثقات غير المفضل هذا وهو ابن أبي أمية أبو مالك البصري أخو مبارك، ضعيف. لكن له شاهد من حديث أبي الأحوص عن أبيه مرفوعا نحوه. أخرجه ابن حبان (١٤٣٤ و ١٤٣٥) وغيره. وله شاهد آخر من حديث أبي هريرة أخرجه أبو الشيخ في " الطبقات ".
"Indeed, Allāh has placed blessing in the pre-dawn meal and in measuring." It was narrated by al-Khaṭīb in "al-Mawḍiḥ" (1/263) from Rafʿīn ibn ʿĪsá, who reported to us from Arṭāh ibn al-Mundhir, from Dāwūd ibn Abī Hind, from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib, from Abū Hurayrah, marfūʿ. It was also narrated by ʿAbd al-Ghanī al-Maqdisī in "Faḍāʾil Ramaḍān" (15/2) from this chain, and he named him Asad ibn ʿĪsá. I said: This Asad was mentioned by al-Ḥāfiẓ in "al-Lisān" and he said: "He is called Rafʿīn and was among the devout people of Syria. Makḥūl al-Bayrūnī said about Dāwūd ibn Jamīl: They did not doubt that he was among the substitutes." Ibn Ḥibbān said in "al-Thiqāt" that he is obscure, and the people of Iraq and his own town narrated from him. I said: The ḥadīth is ḥasan, if Allāh wills, except that the word "measuring" was not mentioned by al-Maqdisī in his narration from him; instead, he mentioned "the congregation," as will be mentioned with the wording "blessing is in three..." I have found a corroborating report for the first narration from the ḥadīth of ʿAlī with the wording: "and food and what is measured," and its isnād is weak, as I have explained in "al-Jamāʿah Barakah..."
" إن الله جعل البركة في السحور والكيل ". رواه الخطيب في " الموضح " (١ / ٢٦٣) عن رفعين بن عيسى حدثنا أرطاة بن المنذر عن داود بن أبي هند عن سعيد بن المسيب عن أبي هريرة مرفوعا. ورواه عبد الغني المقدسي في " فضائل رمضان " (١٥ / ٢) من هذا الوجه وسماه أسد بن عيسى. قلت: وأسد هذا أورده الحافظ في " اللسان " وقال: " يقال له رفعين كان من عباد أهل الشام، قال مكحول البيروني عن داود بن جميل: ما كانوا يشكون أنه من الأبدال. قال ابن حبان في " الثقات " يغرب روى عنه أهل العراق وأهل بلده ". قلت: فالحديث حسن إن شاء الله تعالى إلا أن لفظة الكيل لم يذكرها المقدسي في روايته عنه وذكر بدلها " الجماعة " كما سيأتي بلفظ " البركة في ثلاثة.... " وقد وجدت للرواية الأولى شاهد من حديث علي بلفظ: " والطعام والمكيل " وسنده ضعيف كما بينته في " الجماعة بركة ... ".
"Fleeing from the plague is like fleeing from battle." Ibn Saʿd (8/490) reported to us from Yazīd ibn Hārūn, who narrated from Jaʿfar ibn Kaysān, who narrated from ʿAmrah bint Qays al-ʿAdawiyyah, who said: "I entered upon ʿĀʾishah and asked her about fleeing from the plague. She said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said..." and she mentioned it. It was also recorded by Aḥmad (6/82 and 255), who said: Yaḥyá ibn Isḥāq narrated to me, who reported from Jaʿfar ibn Kaysān with it, and its wording is "... the one who remains in it is like a martyr, and the one who flees..."
" الفرار من الطاعون كالفرار من الزحف ". ابن سعد (٨ / ٤٩٠) أخبرنا يزيد بن هارون حدثنا جعفر بن كيسان حدثتنا عمرة بنت قيس العدوية قالت: " دخلت على عائشة فسألتها عن الفرار من الطاعون؟ فقالت: قال رسول الله ﷺ ... " فذكره. وأخرجه أحمد (٦ / ٨٢ و ٢٥٥) حدثني يحيى ابن إسحاق أخبرني جعفر بن كيسان به ولفظه " ... المقيم فيها كالشهيد والفار.. ".
