and with this wording, it is authentic from her, as it was narrated by al-Qāsim ibn Muḥammad from her, who said: "When the two circumcised parts meet, ghusl becomes obligatory. I did it with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)." It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (1/23) and Ibn Mājah (608) with an authentic chain from her. It was also recorded by Muslim (1/187) and others through another route from her, attributed to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a similar manner. Al-Khaṭīb also recorded it in "al-Tārīkh" (12/286) through a third route from her, attributed with the wording of the translation. 2 - As for the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿUmar, it is narrated by ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather, attributed in this manner. It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (611), Aḥmad (2/178), and al-Khaṭīb (1/311 and 6/283) through various routes from him, and it is a good chain. The first two added: "and the glans disappeared." In their chain is al-Ḥajjāj, who is Ibn Arṭāʾah, and he is a mudallis who narrated it with ʿanʿanah. He was followed in this by ʿAbd Allāh ibn Bazīʿ from Abū Ḥanīfah from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb in this manner. It was added at the end: "whether he ejaculated or not."
