- "Whoever supports his brother in his absence, Allāh will support him in this world and the Hereafter." Narrated by al-Dīnūrī in "al-Majālisah" (217/2 - selected from it), al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (2/447/1), and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (74/1) from Ibrāhīm ibn Ḥamzah al-Zubayrī, who reported from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Muḥammad, from Ḥumayd, from al-Ḥasan, from Anas as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. He said: "al-Dāraquṭnī said: Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd contradicted him, narrating it from al-Ḥasan from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, and Allāh knows best." I said: al-Bayhaqī said the same, then he narrated it from Yūnus from al-Ḥasan from ʿImrān as a mawqūf ḥadīth, then he said: "It was also narrated from Yūnus with his isnād as marfūʿ." Then he narrated it from two paths from Yūnus as marfūʿ. I said: Its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs, except that al-Ḥasan - who is al-Baṣrī - is a mudallis and has narrated it with ʿanʿanah. I have found a supporting narration for it from Ismāʿīl ibn Muslim from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir and Abū al-Zubayr from Jābir as marfūʿ. It was extracted by al-Salafī in "Muʿjam al-Safar" (226/2). And Ismāʿīl ibn Muslim is weak due to his memory, so he is used as supporting evidence. And Allāh knows best.

- "There is no year except that the one following it is worse than it until you meet your Lord." Extracted by al-Tirmidhī (2/32) from the path of Sufyān al-Thawrī from al-Zubayr from ʿAdī who said: We entered upon Anas ibn Mālik and complained to him about what we were facing from al-Ḥajjāj, and he mentioned it as marfūʿ. And he said: "A ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth."
