- "Do not curse the fever, for it removes the sins of the children of Adam just as the bellows remove the impurities of iron." It was recorded by Muslim (8/16) and al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (516) and Ibn Saʿd in "al-Ṭabaqāt" (8/308) through the route of Abū al-Zubayr who narrated from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) entered upon Umm al-Sāʾib or Umm al-Musayyib and said: What is wrong with you, Umm al-Sāʾib or Umm al-Musayyib, that you are shivering? She said: The fever—may Allāh not bless it! He said..." and he mentioned it. It was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/346) from this route with a similar narration (see al-Istidrāk no. 216/4). There is a corroborating narration reported by Mūsá ibn ʿUbaydah from ʿAlqamah ibn Marthad from Ḥafṣ ibn ʿUbayd Allāh from Abū Hurayrah who said: "Fever was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and a man cursed it, so the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said..." and he mentioned it similarly. It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (2/348). And Mūsá ibn ʿUbaydah is weak. There are two other corroborating narrations recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" from the ḥadīth of ʿAbd Rabbih ibn Saʿīd from his aunt with a similar narration. And from the ḥadīth of Fāṭimah al-Khuzāʿiyyah with a similar narration. In the chain of the first is Muḥammad ibn Abī Ḥumayd, who is weak. And the chain of the other has narrators who are reliable, as al-Haythamī said (2/307).
- " لا تسبي الحمى فإنها تذهب خطايا بني آدم كما يذهب الكير خبث الحديد ". أخرجه مسلم (٨ / ١٦) والبخاري في " الأدب المفرد " (٥١٦) وابن سعد في" الطبقات " (٨ / ٣٠٨) من طريق أبي الزبير حدثنا جابر بن عبد الله: " أنرسول الله ﷺ دخل على أم السائب أو أم المسيب فقال: مالك ياأم السائب أو يا أم المسيب ﴿تزفزفين﴾ ؟ قالت: الحمى لا بارك الله فيها!فقال ... " فذكره. وأخرجه الحاكم (١ / ٣٤٦) من هذا الوجه نحوه (انظرالاستدراك رقم ٢١٦ / ٤) . وله شاهد يرويه موسى بن عبيدة عن علقمة بن مرثد عنحفص بن عبيد الله عن أبي هريرة قال: " ذكرت الحمى عند رسول الله صلى الله عليهوسلم، فسبها رجل فقال النبي ﷺ ... " فذكره نحوه. أخرجه ابنماجه (٢ / ٣٤٨) . وموسى بن عبيدة ضعيف. وللحديث شاهدان آخران أخرجهماالطبراني في " المعجم الكبير " من حديث عبد ربه ابن سعيد عن عمته مرفوعا نحوه.ومن حديث فاطمة الخزاعية مرفوعا. وفي إسناد الأول محمد بن أبي حميد وهوضعيف. وإسناد الآخر رجاله رجال الصحيح كما قال الهيثمي (٢ / ٣٠٧) .

- "The previously married woman has more right over herself than her guardian, and the virgin should be asked for her consent, and her silence is her consent." It was recorded by Mālik (2/62), Muslim (2/62), Abū Dāwūd (1/327), al-Nasāʾī (2/77-78), al-Tirmidhī (1/206) and he authenticated it, al-Dārimī (2/138), Ibn Mājah (1/576), al-Dāraquṭnī (389), and Aḥmad (1/242, 345, 362), all from Mālik from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Faḍl from Nāfiʿ ibn Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbbās as a marfūʿ ḥadīth
- " الأيم أحق بنفسها من وليها والبكر تستأذن نفسها وإذنها صماتها ". أخرجه مالك (٢ / ٦٢) ومسلم (٢ / ٦٢) وأبو داود (١ / ٣٢٧) والنسائي (٢/ ٧٧ - ٧٨) والترمذي (١ / ٢٠٦) وصححه، والدارمي (٢ / ١٣٨) وابن ماجه(١ / ٥٧٦) والدارقطني (٣٨٩) وأحمد (١ / ٢٤٢ و ٣٤٥ و ٣٦٢) كلهم عن مالكعن عبد الله بن الفضل عن نافع بن جبير بن مطعم عن عبد الله بن عباس مرفوعابه.
