"authentic according to the criteria of Muslim," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. It is as they said, except that Ibn ʿAjlān was not used as evidence by Muslim; rather, he included him in the follow-ups, so the isnād is ḥasan.

- "Do not pray towards a grave, nor pray over a grave." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (3/145/2) from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Kaysān, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I say: This Ibn Kaysān is Abū Mujāhid al-Marwazī, who is truthful but makes many mistakes, as al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb," and the rest of the narrators are trustworthy. Then it was narrated (3/150/1) from Rushdīn ibn Kurayb, from his father, from Ibn ʿAbbās, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I say: Rushdīn is weak, as in "al-Taqrīb," but the rest of the narrators are trustworthy. Thus, the ḥadīth, with both chains combined, is ḥasan, and it was also extracted by al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī in "al-Aḥādīth al-Mukhtārah" (65/62/2) from the route of al-Ṭabarānī. Al-Manāwī criticized it, quoting from al-Haythamī, due to Ibn Kaysān, but they missed the other supporting chain, so take note. The ḥadīth has two supporting witnesses from the ḥadīth of Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī and Anas, and they are extracted in my book "Tadhīr al-Sājid" (pp. 31-32, third edition). Thus, the ḥadīth is authentic, and all praise is due to Allāh for His guidance.

- "If faith were at the Pleiades, men from these people would attain it, meaning Salmān al-Fārisī." It was extracted by al-Bukhārī (8/521) and Muslim (6/191-192) from the route of Abū al-Ghayth, from Abū Hurayrah, who said:
