" and its narrators are those of the authentic [collections], except for Aḥmad ibn Ḥātim, who is trustworthy. It was also narrated by al-Ṭabarānī from Muʿāwiyah with this wording, and its narrators are those of the authentic [collections] except for al-Nuʿmān ibn Murrah, who is trustworthy." I said: It is in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr" (pp. 241-244) in a long ḥadīth from Wāʾil ibn Ḥujr, who said to Muʿāwiyah: "How do you deal with the saying of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)?" and he mentioned it. And it contains weakness and unknown [narrators].
" ورجاله رجال الصحيح، غير أحمد بن حاتم وهو ثقة، ورواه الطبراني أيضا عن معاوية بهذا اللفظ، ورجاله رجال الصحيح غير النعمان بن مرة وهو ثقة ". قلت: وهو في " المعجم الصغير " (ص ٢٤١ - ٢٤٤) في حديث طويل عن وائل بن حجر أنه قال لمعاوية: فكيف تصنع بقول رسول الله ﷺ: فذكره. وفيه ضعف وجهالة.
- "When he sent any of his Companions on a mission, he would say: Give glad tidings and do not repel people, make things easy and do not make them difficult." Narrated by Muslim (5/141) and Abū Dāwūd (2/293) through the route of Abū Usāmah from Burayd ibn ʿAbd Allāh from Abū Burdah from Abū Mūsá who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) used to..." the ḥadīth. And it will appear in "Make things easy and do not make them difficult..." under number (1151).
- " كان إذا بعث أحدا من أصحابه في بعض أمره قال: بشروا ولا تنفروا ويسروا ولا تعسروا ". أخرجه مسلم (٥ / ١٤١) وأبو داود (٢ / ٢٩٣) من طريق أبي أسامة عن بريد بن عبد الله عن أبي بردة عن أبي موسى قال: كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا. الحديث. وسيأتي في " يسروا ولا تعسروا ... " برقم (١١٥١) .
- "Evil omen is in the house, the woman, and the horse." Narrated by Aḥmad (6/150, 240, 246) and al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Mushkil al-Āthār" (1/341) from Qatādah from Abū Ḥassān who said: "Two men from Banī ʿĀmir entered upon ʿĀʾishah and informed her that Abū Hurayrah was narrating from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) that he said (and he mentioned it). She became angry, and a part of her flew to the sky and a part to the earth, and she said: By the One who sent down the Criterion upon Muḥammad, the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) never said it. He only said: The people of ignorance used to take omens from that." In another narration by Aḥmad: "But the Prophet of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) used to say: The people of ignorance used to say: Evil omen is in the woman, the house, and the animal. Then ʿĀʾishah recited: (No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register) to the end of the verse." And it was narrated by al-Ḥākim (2/479) and he said:
- " الطيرة من الدار والمرأة والفرس ". أخرجه أحمد (٦ / ١٥٠، ٢٤٠، ٢٤٦) والطحاوي في " مشكل الآثار " (١ / ٣٤١) عن قتادة عن أبي حسان قال: " دخل رجلان من بني عامر على عائشة، فأخبراها أن أبا هريرة يحدث عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال (فذكره) فغضبت، فطارت شقة منها في السماء وشقة في الأرض، وقالت: والذي أنزل الفرقان على محمد ما قالها رسول الله ﷺ قط، إنما قال: كان أهل الجاهلية يتطيرون من ذلك ". وفي رواية لأحمد: " ولكن نبي الله ﷺ كان يقول: كان أهل الجاهلية يقولون: الطيرة في المرأة والدار والدابة، ثم قرأت عائشة (ما أصاب من مصيبة في الأرض ولا في أنفسكم إلا في كتاب) إلى آخر الآية ". وأخرجها الحاكم (٢ / ٤٧٩) وقال:
