in summary: the ḥadīth from Jābir is authentic with these sound corroborations. All praise is due to Allāh for His guidance. The ḥadīth was mentioned by al-Suyūṭī in "al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr" from the narration of al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" from Jābir. Al-Munāwī criticized it with the earlier statement of al-Haythamī: "In it are those whom I do not know." It is not hidden from you that he said this regarding the chain of Abū Yaʿlá, and it does not necessarily apply to the chain of al-Bayhaqī and al-Ḍiyāʾ, as evidenced by the narration of Abū Nuʿaym, which is free from unknown individuals as previously mentioned. Then I came across the isnād of Abū Yaʿlá, who said in "Musnad" (2/499): ʿAbd al-Aʿlá narrated to us, Muʿtamir informed us, Abū Ismāʿīl informed us from Abū al-Zubayr and al-Walīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Mughīth from Jābir in a marfūʿ form with the wording of Abū Nuʿaym. There is no one in this isnād unknown to me, and all its men are trustworthy except for Abū Ismāʿīl, who is Ibrāhīm ibn Yazīd al-Khūzī, and he is abandoned. Abū al-Zubayr has been mentioned previously. Al-Walīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Mughīth narrates from the Tābiʿīn, and among those who narrate from him is al-Khūzī, this Abū Ismāʿīl. The narrator from him, Muʿtamir, is Ibn Sulaymān ibn Ṭarkhān, one of the narrators of the two Shaykhs. ʿAbd al-Aʿlá, the teacher of Abū Yaʿlá, is Ibn Ḥammād known as al-Narsī, one of the teachers of al-Bukhārī and Muslim. So I do not know how al-Haythamī did not recognize some of these individuals?!
