- "Tayammum is a strike for the face and hands." It was recorded by Ibn Khuzaymah in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (38/2) and Aḥmad (4/263) from Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abzá from his father from ʿAmmār ibn Yāsir that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said regarding tayammum: a strike... I say: This is a sound chain according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, and its meaning is found in "Ṣaḥīḥayn" and Abū Dāwūd among others, and it is extracted in "Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd" (343-362).

- "Indeed, among the signs of the Hour is that knowledge will be sought from the young." It was recorded by Ibn al-Mubārak in "al-Zuhd" (61) and from him by Abū ʿAmr al-Dānī in "al-Fitan" (62/2) and al-Lālakāʾī in "Sharḥ Uṣūl al-Sunnah" (230/1 - Kawākib 576) as well as al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" and from him by al-Ḥāfiẓ ʿAbd al-Ghanī al-Maqdisī in "al-ʿIlm" (fol. 16/2) and Ibn Mandah in "al-Maʿrifah" (2/220/1) from Ibn al-Mubārak from Ibn Lahīʿah from Bakr ibn Sawādah from Abū Umayyah al-Jumaḥī that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. The first added: "Ibn al-Mubārak said: the young: the people of innovation." I say: This is a good isnād because the ḥadīth of Ibn Lahīʿah is authentic if it is from the narration of one of the ʿAbādilah about him, and Ibn al-Mubārak is among them. What al-Munāwī transmitted from al-Haythamī that he criticized it by saying: it contains Ibn Lahīʿah who is weak is not good, and therefore al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Maqdisī said after it: "And its isnād is ḥasan." And it was narrated by al-Harawī in "Dhamm al-Kalām" (fol. 137/2) from this perspective as marfūʿ and from Ibn Masʿūd as mawqūf on him
