and the corroborating evidence mentioned was recorded by Ibn Mājah (4110) through various chains from Abū Yaḥyá Zakariyyā ibn Manẓūr, who reported from Abū Ḥāzim. This Zakariyyā was not accused of lying, so he can be used as supporting evidence, especially since some have deemed him trustworthy, and Ibn ʿAdī said: his ḥadīth is recorded. 2 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, it is narrated by Muḥammad ibn ʿAmmār from Ṣāliḥ, the client of al-Tawʾamah, from him. It was recorded by Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (306/2). This Ṣāliḥ is weak due to his confusion, but he is not accused. 3 - As for the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿUmar, it is narrated by Abū Muṣʿab from Mālik from Nāfiʿ from him as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. It was recorded by al-Qaḍāʿī in "Musnad al-Shihāb" (116/1). 4 - As for the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās, it is narrated by al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAmārah from al-Ḥakam from Mujāhid from him. It was recorded by Abū Nuʿaym (3/304, 8/290) who said: "It is a rare ḥadīth from al-Ḥakam, and we have not written it except from al-Ḥasan's narration."
