Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Nawfal that he heard Durrah bint Muʿādh narrating from Umm Hānīʾ: "that she asked the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): Will we visit each other when we die and see each other? The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said...." and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is weak, due to Ibn Lahīʿah, as he has poor memory. So al-Suyūṭī's statement: "It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr' with a ḥasan isnād" is not ḥasan, unless he means it is ḥasan due to other supporting evidence, then yes. And Durrah bint Muʿādh, al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taʿjīl": "I said: She is counted among the Companions, and Ibn al-Munkadir and Zayd ibn Aslam also narrated from her." I said: Despite that, he did not include her in "al-Iṣābah"! And likewise, Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr did not mention her in "al-Istīʿāb." And Allāh knows best. There is a strong corroborating ḥadīth from Kaʿb ibn Mālik, elevated with a similar meaning. It was narrated by Mālik and others with a ṣaḥīḥ isnād, and it will appear under number (995).

"My nation will be afflicted with the disease of the nations." They said: "O Messenger of Allāh, what is the disease of the nations?" He said: "Arrogance, extravagance, rivalry in worldly matters, mutual hatred, and envy until transgression occurs."
