"that Allāh loves the abundance of hands in food." and "the most beloved food..." and "eat together." Perhaps for this reason, the ḥāfiẓ al-Mundhirī in "al-Targhīb" (3/121) approved Ibn Ḥibbān's authentication of it and did not indicate its weakening by prefacing it with "it was narrated..." as is his custom and terminology. And Allāh knows best.

"Use ithmid, for it promotes hair growth, removes specks, and clears the vision." Narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Tārīkh" (4/2/412) and al-Ṭabarānī (1/12/1) from Abū Jaʿfar al-Nufaylī, who reported from Yūnus ibn Rāshid, from ʿAwn ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥanafīyah, from his father, from his grandfather ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. It was also narrated by Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (3/178) through different chains from al-Firyābī with the same isnād. He said: "A rare ḥadīth from Ibn al-Ḥanafīyah, narrated only by his son ʿAwn, and from him only by Yūnus." I say: This isnād contains narrators who are all trustworthy and well-known, except for ʿAwn. Ibn Ḥibbān included him in "al-Thiqāt" (2/228) and said: "He narrates from his father from his grandfather, and ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Abī ʿAyyāsh narrated from him." I say: Yūnus ibn Rāshid also narrated from him, and Muḥammad ibn Mūsá added him in "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" (3/1/386), so the isnād is good as al-Mundhirī said in "al-Targhīb" (3/115).
