among them is Abū Hurayrah, from whom (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. It was recorded by Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (5/202) from Isḥāq ibn Rāhwayh, who said: Kulthūm ibn Muḥammad ibn Abī Sidrah narrated to us, ʿAṭāʾ ibn Maysarah narrated to us from him. I say: This isnād is disconnected and weak, ʿAṭāʾ ibn Maysarah is the son of Abū Muslim al-Khurasānī and did not hear from any of the Companions. And regarding Kulthūm, Abū Ḥātim said: they criticize him. among them is a man from Banī Sulayṭ who said: "I came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)..." and he mentioned a ḥadīth that includes this. It is narrated by ʿAlī ibn Zayd from al-Ḥasan, who said: A man from Banī Sulayṭ narrated to me. It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/71). This isnād is acceptable as supporting evidence, and al-Haythamī deemed it good (10/275), its narrators are trustworthy except for ʿAlī ibn Zayd, who is Ibn Judʿān and has poor memory. In summary, the ḥadīth, with all these chains, is authentic. And success is from Allāh.
