"Build for him a shelter like the shelter of Moses, meaning the mosque of Medina." It is narrated mursal from al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī, Sālim ibn ʿAṭiyyah, al-Zuhrī, and Rāshid ibn Saʿd, and connected from Abū al-Dardāʾ and ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit. 1 - From al-Ḥasan. It was recorded by Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "Qaṣr al-Amal" (3/25/2) through the route of Ismāʿīl ibn Muslim from him, who said: "When the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) built the mosque, his Companions assisted him while he was handling the bricks until his chest became dusty, and he said..." Then he mentioned it. Ibn Kathīr said in "al-Bidāyah" (3/215): "This is mursal." I say: Its narrators are all trustworthy if this Ismāʿīl is al-ʿAbdī the judge, and if he is al-Makkī al-Baṣrī, then he is weak, and both narrated from al-Ḥasan. He has been followed up, as it was recorded by Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Muṣannaf" (1/100/2) and from him by Ibn ʿAsākir (12/317/2) through the route of Ayyūb from al-Ḥasan with it. Its isnād is ṣaḥīḥ mursal. 2 - From Sālim ibn ʿAṭiyyah - It was recorded by al-Bayhaqī in "Sunan" (2/439) from Layth from him.
