and it has a weak corroborating report, narrated by Ibrāhīm ibn Yazīd from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār from Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī from his father from his grandfather from ʿAlī, attributed to the Prophet with the wording: "Go out and announce to the people from Allāh, not from His Messenger; may Allāh curse the one who cuts down the lote tree." It was recorded by al-Bayhaqī, and al-Ṭaḥāwī (4/119) in a similar manner. And this Ibrāhīm, who is al-Khūzī, is abandoned, and he was inconsistent in his isnād as clarified by al-Bayhaqī, so reliance is on what precedes it. And Allāh knows best
