It was recorded by Tamām al-Rāzī in "al-Fawāʾid" through the route of Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Zarārah, who reported to us from Ḥammād Abū Bishr al-ʿAbdī and al-Ashʿath ibn Saʿīd from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār with it. However, this al-Ashʿath is abandoned, and even if Ḥammād Abū Bishr al-ʿAbdī is paired with him, I do not know him. If he is deemed reliable, the isnād is good. It has a good supporting witness, which is: "The one who cuts the lote tree, Allāh will direct his head into the Fire."

"The one who cuts the lote tree, Allāh will direct his head into the Fire." It was recorded by al-Bayhaqī (6/141) through the route of ʿAbd al-Qāhir ibn Shuʿayb from Bahz ibn Ḥakīm from his father from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is good, as is known in the isnād of Bahz ibn Ḥakīm from his father from his grandfather. And ʿAbd al-Qāhir ibn Shuʿayb was said by Ṣāliḥ Jazrah: there is no harm in him. And Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt". And he was followed by Yaḥyá ibn al-Ḥārith from his brother Mukhāriq ibn al-Ḥārith from Bahz ibn Ḥakīm with it in the wording: "From Allāh, not from His Messenger, may Allāh curse the one who cuts the lote tree." And its men are trustworthy except for this Mukhāriq, for I did not find anyone who translated him, although al-Ḥāfiẓ mentioned him among the teachers of Yaḥyá ibn al-Ḥārith
