the methodology of the book and since the subject of the book is to clarify the guidance of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in prayer, it was obvious that I would not adhere to a specific school of thought for the reason previously mentioned. Rather, I include only what has been authentically reported from him (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), as is the approach of the ḥadīth scholars, both past and present.
