2 - (Muslim, Abū ʿAwānah, and others) "I have turned my face towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, inclining towards the truth [as a Muslim], and I am not among the polytheists. Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are for Allāh, the Lord of all worlds, with no partner. With this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims. O Allāh, You are the King, there is no deity but You [Glory and praise be to You]. You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I have wronged myself and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive all my sins. Indeed, none forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of character, for none guides to the best of it except You, and turn away from me its evil, for none turns away its evil except You. Here I am, at Your service, and all goodness is in Your hands, and evil is not attributed to You [and the guided is the one You guide]. I am by You and towards You [there is no refuge or escape from You except to You]. Blessed and exalted are You, I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You."
