the tree, which His decree had already determined he would eat from. Then He tested him with what He forbade him from, and then He allowed his enemy to tempt him regarding it. He made his eating from it a cause for [his descent] to the earth, so he found no way to refrain from eating it nor any escape from it.

5 - Then He created for Paradise a people from his progeny, who, by His will, act according to its deeds, and by His power and His will, they carry them out. And He created from his progeny a people for Hellfire, for whom He created eyes that do not see, ears that do not hear, and hearts that do not understand. Thus, they are veiled from guidance and, by His prior decree, they perform the deeds of the people of Hellfire.
