He has approved, and they are in awe of His fear. And the Almighty said (Sūrah Maryam, 88-95): "And they say, 'The Most Merciful has taken a son.' You have certainly made an outrageous claim. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation that they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful to take a son. There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. He has enumerated them and counted them a full counting. And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone." And the Almighty said about the Messiah, regarding whom divinity and sonship were claimed (Sūrah al-Zukhruf, 59): "He was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel." For this reason, the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said in the authentic ḥadīth, "Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised ʿĪsá ibn Maryam, for I am only a servant, so say, 'the servant of Allāh and His messenger.'" And Allāh described him as a servant in the most perfect of states, saying in al-Isrāʾ: "Exalted is He who took His Servant by night" and said in the revelation (Sūrah al-Najm, 10) "And He revealed to His Servant what He revealed" and said in the supplication (Sūrah al-Jinn, 19) "And that when the servant of Allāh stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass" and said in the challenge (Sūrah al-Baqarah, 23) "And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant, then produce a sūrah the like thereof." Thus, the entire religion is encompassed in servitude, and it is established in the "Ṣaḥīḥ" that when Jibrīl came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in the form of a Bedouin..
