that he (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, beloved to the Most Merciful: 'Glory be to Allāh and with His praise, glory be to Allāh the Almighty.'" And in "al-Ṣaḥīḥayn" that he (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Whoever says in his day a hundred times: 'There is no deity except Allāh, alone without partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him is the praise, and He is over all things competent,' Allāh will write for him a protection from Satan for that day until evening, and no one will come with anything better than what he has brought except a man who says the same as he said or adds to it." And "whoever says in his day a hundred times: 'Glory be to Allāh and with His praise, glory be to Allāh the Almighty,' his sins will be forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea." And in "al-Muwaṭṭaʾ" and others from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) that he said: "The best of what I and the prophets before me have said is: 'There is no deity except Allāh, alone without partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him is the praise, and He is over all things competent.'"
