and Aḥmad (4/313), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (2/176/1674 and 1675) from Jundub ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Bajalī who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. *

- "Align your rows in prayer; for aligning the rows is part of the beauty of prayer." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (722), Muslim (2/31), Abū ʿAwānah (2/43), Ibn Ḥibbān (3/303), and al-Baghawī in "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" (3/422), and Aḥmad (2/314), all from the route of Hammām ibn Munabbih from Abū Hurayrah from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): ... and he mentioned it. It has a supporting narration from Anas ibn Mālik, raised [to the Prophet] with it. It was recorded by Ibn Khuzaymah (1543), and Aḥmad (3/179). It is with Muslim in the wording: "Straighten your rows; for straightening the row is part of the completion of prayer." It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/217) in a shortened form with the wording: "From the beauty of prayer is aligning the row." And he said: "Authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs." And al-Dhahabī agreed with him. *

- "I have emphasized the use of the toothstick upon you." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (888), Ibn Ḥibbān (2/201/1063), al-Dārimī (174), al-Nasāʾī (1/6), al-Bayhaqī (1/35), and Ibn Abī Shaybah in "Muṣannaf" (1/171), and Aḥmad (3/143), all from the route of Shuʿayb ibn al-Ḥabḥāb: Anas reported that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. *
