"The worst earnings are the dowry of a prostitute, the price of a dog, and the earnings of a cupper." There is a supporting narration from Ibn ʿAbbās with a similar meaning; its documentation has been previously mentioned in this "series" (1806). (Note): The first part of the ḥadīth has been narrated with an addition at its end: "... and it is more wicked than that," which is an addition that is not authentic; as I have clarified in the other "series" (3459).

- (The Friday prayer to the next Friday prayer is an expiation for what is between them, as long as major sins are not committed).
