Fifth: Abū Ṣāliḥ: It was narrated by Muslim (3/133), Ibn Khuzaymah (2072), al-Baghawī (1738), Ibn Abī Shaybah (3/82), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (5539), and Aḥmad (2/253 and 495-496). Sixth: Mūsá ibn Yasār: It was narrated by Aḥmad (2/257) from Yazīd from Muḥammad from him with it. And Muḥammad: he is Ibn Isḥāq. And Mūsá ibn Yasār: his uncle. Seventh: Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib: It was narrated by al-Bukhārī (7242) through the route of al-Zuhrī from him with it. Eighth: Salīm ibn Ḥayyān: It was narrated by Aḥmad (2/345) from ʿAffān from him with it. This is from the thulāthiyyāt [three-narrator chains] of Aḥmad, and Salīm—with an open sīn and a kasrah on the lām—is a trustworthy narrator from the men of the six books. Its chain is authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim]. I said: In this chapter, there are narrations from more than one Companion; see "Ṣaḥīḥ Abū Dāwūd" (2043 and 2044), and "Ṣaḥīḥ al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr wa-Ziyādatuh" (2495). *
