their statement as mentioned in the extraction of al-Mundhirī (1/298): "It is a sound mawqūf narration, reported by Aḥmad (2/418) and al-Ḥākim (2/298), and it is sound. It is necessary to add the term 'mawqūf' after the author's statement 'according to their conditions' because the ḥadīth is mawqūf and not marfūʿ." They confused the marfūʿ with the mawqūf and, due to their profound ignorance, considered it all mawqūf! You have known that in the marfūʿ there is what is not in the mawqūf, which is his saying: "the companion of the mosque..." as al-Mundhirī explicitly stated. They were blind to all of this and denied the marfūʿ ḥadīth entirely, as if they did not see it attributed to the Prophet explicitly in the book and narrated by Aḥmad! And Allāh is the one whose help is sought. *
- "Indeed, the Muslim prays while his sins are raised above his head. Whenever he prostrates, they fall off him, and he finishes his prayer with his sins having fallen off." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (6/307/6125) and in "al-Ṣaghīr" (p. 237), Ibn Abī Ḥātim in "al-ʿIlal" (1/124/324), and al-Aṣbahānī in "al-Targhīb" (2/800/1957) through various chains from Bishr ibn Ādam: narrated to us by Ashʿath ibn Ashʿath al-Saʿdānī: narrated to us by ʿImrān al-Qaṭṭān: narrated to us by Sulaymān al-Taymī from Abū ʿUthmān al-Nahdī from Salmān al-Fārisī (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. Al-Ṭabarānī said: "Bishr is the only one who narrated it." I say: There is a difference of opinion regarding him, and the ḥāfiẓ summarized their statements as usual in "al-Taqrīb": "Truthful but has some weakness."
