that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) entered upon Fāṭimah one day while ʿAlī was sleeping, and she was lying down, and her sons were beside her. Al-Ḥasan asked for a drink, so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) went to a she-camel and milked it for them. He brought it, and al-Ḥusayn woke up and tried to drink before him, until he cried. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said, "Your brother asked for a drink before you." Fāṭimah said, "Is al-Ḥasan more beloved to you?" He replied, "He is not more beloved to me than him; rather, they are equal to me, and I and you..." [the ḥadīth continues]. Then al-Ṭabarānī narrated it (1017) with this isnād from Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Karīm ibn Sulayṭ al-Ḥanafī from ʿAmr ibn Abī al-Miqdām... with the isnād previously mentioned by al-Ṭayālisī in a similar manner. I said: This isnād is objectionable to me; its flaw is Muḥammad ibn Ḥubbān al-Māzinī (1), the teacher of al-Ṭabarānī; they have weakened him. Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī al-Ṣūrī said, "Weak," and ʿAbd al-Ghanī ibn Saʿīd al-Ḥāfiẓ said, "He narrates objectionable things." This is mentioned in "Tārīkh al-Khaṭīb" (5/231-232), but he narrated from Abū al-Qāsim ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ibrāhīm al-Ābandūnī (2) that he said:
