will occur among them except that it will occur among you similarly, to the extent that a woman will pass by a group of men, and one of them will approach her and have relations with her, then return to his companions; he laughs with them and they laugh with him." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (10/47/9882): Ibrāhīm ibn Nāʾilah al-Aṣbahānī narrated to us: ʿUbayd ibn ʿUbaydah al-Tammār narrated to us: Muʿtamir ibn Sulaymān narrated from his father—I think—from Layth from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Tharwān from Huzayl from ʿAbd Allāh with it. Al-Haythamī said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and it includes someone I do not recognize!" Such he said! That is what his knowledge encompassed, and they are all known: 1- Ibrāhīm ibn Nāʾilah al-Aṣbahānī, Abū Nuʿaym mentioned him in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (1/188-189), and he listed his ḥadīths, and recorded his death in the year (291). Al-Ṭabarānī also narrated four other ḥadīths from him in "al-Awsaṭ" (1/3081-3084), and another in "al-Ṣaghīr" (275- al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr). 2- ʿUbayd ibn ʿUbaydah al-Tammār, Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (8/431), and said: "He is rare in his narrations." Others have declared him reliable, and a group narrated from him, see "al-Lisān", and he has been corroborated as will be shown. 3- Those above him are reliable from the narrators of "al-Ṣaḥīḥ"; except for Layth—who is Ibn Abī Sulaym—and he is truthful, but he had become confused. And from his route: al-Bazzār recorded it (3/321/2846) from the narration of ʿAmr ibn ʿĀṣim: Muʿtamir ibn Sulaymān narrated to us ... with its initial part, and its wording: "You are the nation most similar to the Children of Israel; in appearance, characteristics, and guidance."
