then I continued the search and found another route for it narrated by Mubārak ibn Saʿīd, the brother of Sufyān ibn Saʿīd: Saʿīd ibn Masrūq narrated to us from Ayyūb ibn Kurayz from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ghanm from Muʿādh ibn Jabal ... the ḥadīth in full, and it includes the part. It was extracted by al-Ṭabarānī (20/73-74) from two routes from him. This isnād consists of trustworthy men from the "Tahdhīb," except for Ayyūb ibn Kurayz; he is only known from this narration, yet Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (6/54)! Thus, he is considered obscure, and his ḥadīth is strengthened by the corroboration of Shahr ibn Ḥawshab from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ghanm. It was extracted by Aḥmad (5/235, 236, and 245) in both full and abridged forms. *The Legitimacy of Greeting the Reader

(Learn the Book of Allāh and acquire it, and recite it melodiously, for by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muḥammad, it is more likely to escape than a camel in its restraints). It was extracted by Aḥmad (4/150) and al-Shajarī in "al-Amālī" (1/73) from the route of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yazīd: Qubāth ibn Razīn al-Lakhmī narrated to us, saying: I heard ʿAlī ibn Rabāḥ al-Lakhmī say: I heard ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī say: We were sitting in the mosque reciting the Qurʾān, and the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) entered and greeted us, and we returned the greeting, then he said: ... and he mentioned it. From this route, it was extracted by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (17/290/800), but he did not provide its wording. Then it was extracted by Aḥmad (4/153) and al-Ṭabarānī (800 and 802) from other routes from Qubāth
