in summary, the ḥadīth is authentic in my view due to the combination of these paths, and ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq al-Ishbīlī indicated its authenticity in "al-Aḥkām al-Kubrā" number 63 - in my copy by his silence about it as he stated in the introduction. And Allāh knows best.

- "The Hour will not be established until people build houses that they adorn like the adornment of saddles." It was narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (number 777): Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mundhir told us, saying: Ibn Abī Fudayk narrated to us from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Yaḥyá from Saʿīd ibn Abī Hind from Abū Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic; all its men are trustworthy, the men of al-Bukhārī in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" except for ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Yaḥyá, who is ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Abī Yaḥyá al-Aslamī, and he is unanimously trustworthy. (al-marāḥīl) was explained by Ibrāhīm, al-Bukhārī's teacher, as striped garments. In "al-Nihāyah": "al-marḥal is what has been decorated with images of saddles, and from it is the ḥadīth: he used to pray wearing these marḥalāt, meaning the decorated cloaks, and they are pluralized as marāḥil, and from it is this ḥadīth ... they adorn them like the adornment of marāḥil, and this work is called tarḥīl."
