it was connected by al-Tirmidhī (4004), Aḥmad (4/125), al-Ṭabarānī (7175-7178), and Abū Nuʿaym also ... mentioning a man from the tribe of Ḥanẓalah between them. The Ḥanẓalī, I did not recognize him, and see my commentary on "al-Mishkāt" (995). I have found a supporting narration for it, but it is very weak, so I mention it to clarify its condition, and I say: It was narrated by Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAmr al-Bajalī: Mūsá ibn Muṭayr narrated to us from Abū Isḥāq who said: al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib said to me: Shall I not teach you a supplication that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) taught me? He said: ... and he mentioned it. It was produced by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (2/9-10), and in "al-Awsaṭ" (2/156/2/7542), and from his route: Abū Nuʿaym in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (2/27), and al-Ṭabarānī said: "This ḥadīth was not narrated from Abū Isḥāq except by Mūsá ibn Muṭayr, and it was solely transmitted by Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAmr." I said: This is weak, and his teacher Mūsá; al-Dhahabī said: "He is weak, Yaḥyá ibn Maʿīn declared him a liar, and Abū Ḥātim, al-Nasāʾī, and a group said: He is abandoned ...". And al-Haythamī criticized it, saying (10/173): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr' and 'al-Awsaṭ', and in it is Mūsá ibn Muṭayr who is abandoned." And Abū Isḥāq—who is al-Sabīʿī—had become confused, but the defect is from those below him. And in the ḥadīth of Shaddād—especially from the first route—there is sufficient evidence without needing to rely on this weak isnād.
ووصله الترمذي (٤٠٠٤) ، وأحمد (٤/ ١٢٥) ، والطبراني (٧١٧٥- ٧١٧٨) ، وأبو نعيم أيضاً ... بذكر رجل حنظلي بينهما. والحنظلي لم أعرفه، وانظر تعليقي على "المشكاة" (٩٩٥) . وقد وجدت له شاهداً، ولكنه واه جداً، فأذكره لبيان حاله، فأقول: رواه إسماعيل بن عمرو البجلي: ثنا موسى بن مُطَير عن أبي إسحاق قال: قال لي البراء بن عازب: ألا أعلمك دعاء علمنيه رسول الله ﷺ؟ قال: ... فذ كره. أخرجه الطبراني في "المعجم الكبير" (٢/٩- ١٠) ، وفي "الأوسط " (٢/١٥٦/٢/٧٥٤٢) ، ومن طريقه: أبو نعيم في "أخبار أصبهان " (٢/٢٧) ، وقال الطبراني: "لم يرو هذا الحديث عن أبي إسحاق إلا موسى بن مطير، تفرد به إسماعيل بن عمرو". قلت: هذا ضعيف، وشيخه موسى؛ قال الذهبي: "واهٍ، كذبه يحيى بن معين، وقال أبو حاتم والنسائي وجماعة: متروك ... ". وبه أعله الهيثمي فقال (١٠/١٧٣) :"رواه الطبراني في" الكبير" و" الأ وسط "، وفيه موسى بن مطير وهو متروك ". وأبو إسحاق- وهو السبيعي- كان اختلط، لكن العلة ممن دونه. وفي حديث شداد- ولا سيما من الطريق الأولى- ما يغني عن الاستشهاد بهذا الإسناد الواهي.
