and the ḥadīth has a supporting mursal narration recorded by Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Muṣannaf" (12/504/15420): Sulaymān ibn Ḥarb narrated to us, saying: Ghālib ibn Sulaymān Abū Ṣāliḥ narrated to us, saying: al-Zubayr ibn Ṣarākh narrated to us, saying: Muṣʿab ibn al-Zubayr said to us—while we were allies of al-Mukhtār—: Let your slogan be: (Ḥā Mīm), they will not be victorious; for it was the slogan of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). And this isnād consists of trustworthy men; Muṣʿab ibn al-Zubayr is the brother of ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr, and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (5/410), and the rest of the narrators are from the men of "al-Tahdhīb"; except for al-Zubayr ibn Ṣarākh, whom I do not know. *Justice between sons and daughters even in kissing!

(Why did you not treat them equally?! meaning: the son and the daughter). It was recorded by al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Sharḥ al-Maʿānī" (2/246), and Ibn ʿAsākir in "al-Tārīkh" (4/601 - Madīnah image) through two routes from Yaʿqūb ibn Ḥumayd ibn Kāsib who said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Maʿādh narrated to us from Maʿmar from al-Zuhrī from Anas who said: A man was with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), then his son came, and he kissed him and seated him on his thigh, then his daughter came, and he seated her beside him, he said ... and mentioned it. I say: And this isnād is ḥasan; Maʿmar and al-Zuhrī are trustworthy and beyond question. ʿAbd Allāh ibn Maʿādh and Yaʿqūb ibn Ḥumayd are truthful as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb"; except that it was said about the latter: "he might err": and this does not harm his ḥadīth, nor does it lower it from the rank of ḥasan; as is not hidden from those knowledgeable in this noble field
