the ʿishāʾ prayer with the maghrib, for this combination cannot be imagined as a formal combination, and one of the clearest examples of this is the combination during rain established in the sunnah; it can only be imagined by combining in advance. In all of this, there are many authentic ḥadīths; I have included some of them in various parts of my writings, including under the ḥadīth of Ibn Masʿūd mentioned earlier (2837), and among them is the ḥadīth of Anas in "al-Irwāʾ" (3/32/579).

- (Do not pray until the sun has risen high; for it rises between the horns of Satan). It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/216) and also by his son, and al-Bukhārī in "Kunyā al-Tārīkh" (15/107), and al-Bazzār in "Musnad" (1/336-337), as well as Abū Yaʿlá (3/143/1572), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (2/106/1/6668) through various chains from Hārūn ibn Maʿrūf: ʿAbd Allāh [ibn Wahb] narrated to us: Mukharramah [ibn Bukayr] informed me from his father from Saʿīd ibn Nāfiʿ who said: Abū Bashīr al-Anṣārī, a Companion of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), saw me praying the ḍuḥā prayer when the sun had just risen; he criticized me for that and forbade me, then said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it... Al-Bazzār said: "We do not know it except from this route, and we do not know anyone narrated from Saʿīd except Bukayr." I say: This indicates that he is unknown and not recognized, and this is supported by the fact that when al-Bukhārī and Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned him, they did not mention any narrator from him except this one, yet Ibn Ḥibbān included him in "al-Thiqāt" (4/291)!
