that ʿAbdullāh from his father was included by him in "Ṣaḥīḥ" as evidence, and I have found for him therein two ḥadīths included in "al-Maghāzī": the first: (8/66/4350) through the route of ʿAlī ibn Suwayd from ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah from his father, who said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) sent ʿAlī to Khālid to collect the khums... the ḥadīth. It was also included by Aḥmad (5/350) through another route from ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah: My father Buraydah told me. Thus, he explicitly stated his hearing from his father, and this is frequent from him as will come, and this isnād is ḥasan. The other: (8/153/4473) through the route of Kahmas from Ibn Buraydah from his father, who said: He participated in sixteen battles with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). Muslim also included this from this route (5/200). Then he narrated it through the route of Ḥusayn ibn Wāqid from ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah in a similar manner. And from this route, al-Bayhaqī included it in "Dalāʾil al-Nubuwwah" (5/459), explicitly stating Ibn Buraydah's narration from his father. Knowing this, the statement of the ḥāfiẓ in the "Muqaddimah al-Fatḥ" (413) that ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah has only one ḥadīth in al-Bukhārī from his narration from his father, and Muslim agreed with him in including it! This is an oversight regarding the first ḥadīth, which I have previously attributed to the part, page, and number from its explanation - Salafiyyah edition. The second fact: that Imām Muslim authenticated a number of ḥadīths from ʿAbdullāh ibn Buraydah from his father in various types of fiqh chapters, included in "Ṣaḥīḥ," and whoever wishes may refer to them with the help of al-Mizzī's book: "Tuḥfat al-Ashrāf," and these are their numbers: (1947, 1963, 1980, 1989, 1999, 2001)
