"the two Ṣaḥīḥs" and others from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah and Abū Dharr, and this was narrated by Ibn Ḥibbān (4577). Refer to "al-Targhīb" (2/172-173) if you wish.

- "Whoever lends his horse to a Muslim, it is as if he has the reward of seventy horses used for the sake of Allāh. If he retrieves it, he has the reward of a horse used for the sake of Allāh." It was narrated by Ibn Ḥibbān (1637 - al-Mawārid), Aḥmad (4/231), Abū Isḥāq al-Ḥarbī in "Gharīb al-Ḥadīth" (5/9/1), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (22/341/853) through various chains from Muḥammad ibn Ḥarb from al-Zubaydī from Rāshid ibn Saʿd from Abū ʿĀmir al-Hawzanī from Abū Kabshah al-Anmārī that he came to a man and said: Lend me your horse, for I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. I say: This is a sound Shāmī isnād, all its narrators are trustworthy from the men of "al-Tahdhīb," and Abū Kabshah al-Anmārī is a well-known Companion who settled in Shām, though there is a difference of opinion regarding his name, and al-Tirmidhī asserted that his name is ʿUmar ibn Saʿd. And Abū ʿĀmir al-Hawzanī's name is ʿAbdullāh ibn Luḥay. And al-Zubaydī's name is Muḥammad ibn al-Walīd. There is also a supporting narration that is mawqūf, narrated by Ṭaysalah ibn ʿAlī from Ibn ʿUmar who said: People have never exchanged anything better among themselves than lending. A man lends his horse and its reward continues for him, a man lends his stallion and its reward continues for him, and a man lends his ram and its reward continues for him. It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (12/264/13061) through the route of Ziyād ibn Mukhāriq from him
